GatorGuard installs a four-layer system: a moisture-mitigating epoxy primer bonded directly to the concrete, a 100%-solids epoxy base coat, a full broadcast of decorative flakes, and a UV- and chemical-resistant polyaspartic topcoat. Each layer has to fully cure and bond before the next can go down, so we apply the primer and epoxy base on day one and return on day two for the topcoat. Rushed one-day polyurea installs skip that cure time and proper moisture mitigation — the leading causes of delamination, peeling, and hot-tire pickup. Is the coating slippery when wet?+
